Many have heard the name Verbal Bean.
His preaching has been remembered, his ministry has been written about, and generations of preachers have been influenced by the passion, conviction, and anointing that marked his life.

When Rev. Verbal Bean’s life was tragically cut short in 1977, his son Joel was only a baby. He would never have the opportunity to grow up sitting beside his father, learning ministry from him or hearing firsthand the stories so many others would later tell.
Yet there are some things tragedy cannot take away.
The spiritual DNA remained.
Today, Rev. Joel Bean and his wife pastor a growing church in Tennessee, carrying forward their own calling and ministry while honoring the remarkable heritage that came before them.
Joel does not simply carry his father’s name.
